Two Australian women including a 30-year-old Australian citizen and a 32-year-old permanent resident who is a Chinese national, have been convicted to restrictive bonds after supplicating guilty to many offends against the Australian migration act. ABF ( Australian Border Force ) officers initiated an investigation into the women in October 2018 just after it was recorded they are not registered with MARA and illegally provided immigration assistance to a huge number of clients especially Chinese nationals. Skilled Regional Visa Subclass 489 to be replaced with Subclass 491 Visa from 16th November

The Department of Home Affairs revealed transitional arrangements for replacing subclass 489 with subclass 491 Visa. 15th November 2019 - Invited applicant can lodge their visa on or before 15th November. Subclass 489 was ceased and through the immigration portal, no further lodgements can be made. 16th November 2019 - New points test will be introduced and migrants will be able to lodge EOIs for the subclass 491. 16th November 2022 - Subclass 191 will be introduced.
