Vaccine Passports will be issued from today to Australians traveling abroad prior to the opening of Australia’s international border next month

Prime Minister Scott Morrison has announced that Australia will open its international border in November. The federal government is issuing vaccine passports to international travelers ahead of the resumption of foreign travel. With this, Australia has taken another step towards opening the international border.

A vaccine certificate for international travel is similar to the current vaccine passport.

But unlike the current passport, it will have a QR code. It is intended for use at international borders

The government said that when traveling abroad and back, it may be required by the authorities at international borders and vaccination status can be confirmed using QR. This will enable passengers to travel with confidence and safety, officials said.

This is a certificate issued by the International Civil Aviation Organization and the World Health Organization. The vaccine certificate will be available from Tuesday. This certificate can be downloaded digitally from MyGov. Labor Minister Stuart Robert said it could be used to print out

Vaccine passports are now available for those who have received both doses of the vaccine in the country. It is required to access various locations once the restrictions expire.
