Regional Migration

The Government of Australia is escalating its responsibility to regional areas of Australia by expanding regional migration and assuring their migration rules inspires skilled migrants to stay and work in small towns and suburbs.

The Govt declared in last march, it would shorten the permanent migration cap from 190000 to 160000 areas. By this change 23000 areas for regional visas as part of Regional Migration.

Due to the uncertain rise in the sum of regional visas allotted at the beginning of this year the sum of regional areas will be expanded to 25000 by the Government.

The latest updates will be declared on 16th November.

All the places excluding Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane can have entry to 25000 visa regions. Processing of priority and graduates of International Universities who stay in these areas will be suitable to apply for further time in Australia under a post-study work visa.

The recent scheme will be a cornerstone of Govt’s population plan.  By providing incentives for the migrants who stay and work in regional areas of Australia will depressurize the three major capital cities.

Words of Prime Minister Scott Morrison:

We are using our migration program to back our regions to grow to take the population pressure off our major capital cities. By supporting strong regions we are creating an even stronger economy for Australia.

These changes will boost the appeal for so many cities and regional centers that are looking to grow their population to support local services like Schools and Health care while attracting new workers and students, meaning more works and more investments.
