Eligibility Criteria for Australian PR
To be eligible for Australia PR, the applicant must be under the age of 45. Meeting this requirement is essential to apply for and obtain permanent residency status in Australia.
Skill assessment is an evaluation of an applicant’s qualifications and work experience to determine if they meet the requirements for a particular occupation in Australia. It is a mandatory process for many Australian Permanent Residency visas and is usually conducted by a relevant assessing authority. Skill assessment ensures that the applicant has the necessary skills and qualifications to work in their chosen occupation in Australia.
Occupation in demand for Australia PR” refers to the list of professions that are currently experiencing a shortage of skilled workers in Australia. These occupations are identified by the Australian government and are included in the Skilled Occupation List (SOL) and the Consolidated Sponsored Occupation List (CSOL). Skilled workers in these occupations are in high demand and may be eligible for permanent residency in Australia through various immigration programs.
Applicants for Australia PR must demonstrate English proficiency by achieving a minimum score in an approved language test, such as IELTS or PTE. The required minimum scores may vary depending on the visa subclass and occupation. But in general, applicants are required to achieve at least a competent level of English language proficiency, which is equivalent to a score of at least 6 in IELTS or its equivalent in other tests.
Looking to make Australia your new home? Then it’s essential to meet the health and character requirements for permanent residency. To ensure you don’t have any pre-existing medical conditions, a medical examination is required. And to show good character, police clearances from countries you’ve lived in for 12 months or more must be provided.
To apply for Australian Permanent Residency, applicants must score a minimum of 65 points based on factors like age, qualifications, work experience, and English proficiency. Additional points can be awarded for factors such as regional study, employment, and partner skills. However, the minimum point requirement does not guarantee an invitation to apply for PR.
